Triton
Know as Sunward II of NCL Triton was originally built as Cunard Adventurer in 1971. Later she joined the fleet of Louis Cruises and was renamed Coral. 2014 she was scrapped at Alang, India. For photos, postcards and more information on the history of this vessel go to Simplon Postcards.
Her sister, the former Cunard Ambassador (see also Simplon Postcards) had only a rather short career as passenger ship. Only two years after entering service she encountered an engine room fire and is since then serving as livestock carrier. (for a picture go to www.schiffspost.com) Renamed Procyon, then Raslan she was scrapped after another fire in 1984.
