Amdea of Phoenix Seereisen was built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries as Asuka for NYK's cruise line. A plethora of pictures of Amadea is found at oceanliner-pictures.com. Amadea succeeded Deutschland as ship being featured in the popular German TV series 'Das Traumschiff'.
