Eugenio C. was once the proud flagship of Costa Line (now Costa Cruises). Designed by Nicolò Costanzi and Nino Zoncada, Eugenio C. was built for the Europe - South America service at Cantieri Riuniti dell'Adriatico, Monfalcone. (now Fincantieri). Photos of this beautiful ship are found at Simplon Postcards, at Fakta om Fartyg or Earl of Cruise. A plan of Eugenio C. is available at the Associazione Navimodellisti Bolognesi. Sadly, this magnificent vessel was scrapped in 2006.
