Oceanic was built at Monfalcone for the now defunct Home Lines. Originally meant for transatlantic service, the ship was deployed for cruises only. In 1985 Oceanic was sold to Premier Cruises and named StarShip Oceanic. In 2000 she was again sold to the Spanish operator Pullmantur, from March 2009 Oceanic has been chartered by Peace Boat. Oceanic was scrapped in 2012 at Zhoushan, China.
