Saga Ruby

ex Vistafjord, ex Caronia, later Oasia, scrapped 2017

Saga Ruby was built by Swan Hunter as Vistafjord for the erstwhile Norwegian America Line.
Following an extensive refit she emerged as Saga Ruby of Saga Holidays in 2005. It seems that she was more beautiful than ever after the refit supervised by Alison Clixby.

In the German speaking world the name Vistafjord became very well know as she was the location for the first episodes of the well know German TV series 'Das Traumschiff'. This TV series is still continued - see also the official page of 'Das Traumschiff' - or watch the first episode @ YouTube
