Salamis Glory

Salamis Glory was originally built in 1962 as Anna Nery at Uljanik and intended to operate along the Brazilian coast.
During her long career she changed owner several times and has been operated under various different names : Danos ('K' Lines - Hellenic Cruises); Constellation ('K' Lines - Hellenic Cruises); Morning Star (Lelakis); Regency Spirit (Regency Cruises). In 1996 she joined Salamis Cruise Lines and became Salamis Glory, her final cruise for Salamis Cruise Lines ended on the 8th of November 2009. During her long career Salamis Glory encountered two major collisions. As Anna Nery she collided with the tanker Presidente Deodoro in 1963 and 44 years later (2007) Salamis Glory collided with the cargo ship Shelly which subsequently sank.
