SH Diana leaving Scheveningen

SH Diana is Swan Hellenic’s largest ship being ~2m wider and ~11 meters longer than near sisters SH Vega and SH Minerva. She was built at Helsinki Shipyard – the same shipyard where famous ships like Finnjet, the Royal Viking Star class, Royal Princess, Song of America, the Sea Goddess ships or the recent ms Europa were built. A distinguishing feature of SH Diana is the high endurance of 40 days / 8000 nautical miles; an installation of batteries for silent an emission free operation in sensitive areas is foreseen. A notable difference to her near sisters are the sophisticated tenders and the slightly larger (but maybe still too small) accessible area on the forecastle – an essential feature for cruises to scenic regions.
