Schwedenplatz

The Schiffstation Wien City near Schwedenplatz is right in the center of Vienna. The Twin City Liner, a fast catamaran service between Bratislava and Vienna and sightseeing cruises depart from there. Nearby is the home base of the Vienna boat taxi offering not only charter trips but excursion to the Donau-Auen National Park. Of the bars and restaurants in that area the 'Badeschiff', a barge converted to a restaurant with bar that also features a swimming pool is noteworthy.

Reichsbrücke

The Schiffahtrtszentrum Wien at the Reichsbrücke is where overnight vessels berth, sightseeing cruises and excursion vessels also stop and Hydrofoils depart for Budapest. The 'Schiffahtrtszentrum Wien' is only some minutes from the center of Vienna and can be conveniently reached by underground.

Nussdorf

In addition there are berths at Nussdorf near the Kahlenbergerdorf: Donaustation Wien-Nussdorf 29 - map of berths operated by Lueftner

Some exursion vessels occasionally stop there and many overnight vessels berth there for their call at Vienna. Be aware that this is on the outsikrts of Vienna and can not be as easily reached as the 'Schiffahtrtszentrum Wien' at the Reichsbrücke. It is however close to the famous wineries - for most too far to walk but it's a shorter ride by bus or Taxi.
