PS Schönbrunn
Paddle steamer Schönbrunn was built in 1912 at an in-house shipyard of the erstwhile DDSG in Hungary. She is the last paddlesteamer in service on the Danube river. After her retirement from regular service Schönbrunn served as a casino in Budapest and as an exhibition center in Engelhartszell before ÖGEG, a private railway enthusiasts society, took possession of the vessel.
Schönbrunn has been restored and undertakes occasional trips from her new homeport Linz. Click here for her schedule.
Pictures of Schönbrunn are found at paddlesteamers.info, wikipedia (German) and at www.schaufelraddampfer.de.
